TÜCHLER’s BLACKPEARL on Tour with PUR. The projection foil BLACK PEARL from TÜCHLER is a sophisticated and flexible foil for creative applications that is suitable for both front and rear projection. When light is not being projected on it, the BLACK PEARL projection foil offers a deep black, neutral background. When the Barco Projector (20,000 ANSI lumens) is put into action during the intro and the concert, the material reflects high-resolution, high-contrast images and video. Most of the time, the BLACK PEARL projection foil is used as a tightly tensioned projection screen. At the PUR concert in Dortmund’s Westphalia Hall, the set designer turned the material into a pleated, curtain-like stage backdrop that still provided impeccable projection performance.
